After completing the course you will receive a statement of attainment to use when applying for your licence.

Our very popular group clay target shooting sessions are designed for groups to shoot clay targets in a closed session. Experienced and novice shooters welcome.

Coaching

Informal coaching and instruction can be arranged. We are fortunate in having several world-class shooters as members here who have competed internationally at the highest level and are also ACTA-accredited coaches.

Shotgun Disciplines

Skeet

‘Skeet’ is a word of Scandinavian origin, though the discipline originated in America and it is ‘American Skeet’ we shoot at Caboolture.

Trap Shooting / Down The Line

There are several forms of trap shooting, but the most popular recreational form and the one we shoot at Caboolture is known as ‘Down-The-Line Trap’ or ‘DTL’.

Sporting Clays / 5 Stand

This form of shooting has been likened to ‘golf with a shotgun’ and it’s easy to see why.
