Firearm safety Courses

Applying for a Queensland Firearms Licence can be daunting for the first-timer; we can guide you through the application process to make it as easy as possible and prevent any unneccessary delays from incorrect paperwork.

Firearm Safety Courses

In order to obtain a Queensland Firearms Licence, applicants must first obtain a “Statement of Attainment” showing that they have completed an approved safety training course for weapons (within the previous 12 month period).

At Caboolture Clay Target Club we employ the services of Glenn Walker or Asset Training Services who are both registered trainers. Both run courses at Caboolture Clay Target Club on alternate months.

To obtain your Queensland Firearms Licence you are also required to demonstrate a “genuine reason” to possess a firearm. Membership of an approved club such as ours is one such reason.
